Cut Change UTOPY covers pieces in the original cut, which we decided to replace with an improved version. The original cut is first quality – we just no longer use it in new production. Pieces from this category usually bring the price down for you, while you keep the same materials and finish.

Why we change cuts
UTOPY gradually develops its cuts based on customer feedback and our own testing in the workshop in Měšice. When we find a detail that can be done better (a better fit at the waist, a more comfortable sleeve, a more comfortable neckline), we rework the cut. The original versions of a cut aren't "worse" – they're simply an earlier evolution of the same piece.
Who this category is for
- For customers who found the original cut fitted better than the new one (subjectively)
- For people who prefer a reduced price and don't mind a slight variation in cut
- For fans of particular designs – if you find the design + discount combination that suits you
Tip from Gabi in the workshop: For a given product, you'll usually see both variants – the original cut (in this category) and the new version (in the regular range). If you have a UTOPY product from last season and want the same size, we recommend reading about the cut change in the description of the specific product – sometimes the difference is one centimetre at the waistband, other times it's the sleeve length. It depends on the specific cut.
