What you'll find in the UTOPY kids' range
UTOPY kids' clothing focuses on sportswear for active children – t-shirts and leggings they can move in and that last through an ordinary kids' day. Not a full wardrobe – we focus on what children actually move in. Technical knits with the same finish as our adult products, just in kids' sizes and cuts.
What we currently offer
UTOPY for kids currently focuses on two main categories:
- Kids' sports t-shirts – technical t-shirts for nursery, school, the playground and sport. Short sleeves, breathable knit, a design that can't wash out.
- Kids' leggings – comfortable leggings for movement, clubs (dance, gymnastics, football in autumn weather) and everyday wear. A technical fabric that moves with the body and wicks away sweat.
We're gradually expanding our kids' range based on what parents ask for – get in touch if a particular type of piece is missing.
Who UTOPY kids' clothing is for
UTOPY for kids is for active children who love to move – at nursery, at school, in the playground and at clubs. And for parents who want quality fabric, an original design instead of a generic licensed print, and clothing that lasts beyond a single season.
Slow fashion thinking applies to our kids' range too. Instead of cheap pieces that lose their shape and colour after five washes, one functional piece that keeps up as your child grows.
A tip from Nikča: “We wash kids' t-shirts and leggings at just 30 °C, happily alongside other sportswear. The sublimated design can't wash out, so you don't need to worry about colour fixing or washing them inside out. For the youngest, we recommend skipping fabric softener – it's gentler on the skin.”
Fabrics for kids' clothing
We sew our kids' pieces from the same technical knits as our adult clothing:
- Drift – polyester microfibre (93 %) with elastane (7 %). A very fine knit that wicks sweat and moves with the body. The main fabric for kids' t-shirts and leggings.
Sublimation printing at 200 °C bonds the dye directly into the polyester fibre – the design can't rub off, peel or wash out. For kids, that means clothing that stands up to repeated washing and everyday stains from grass or ice cream.
Měšice, original design, Czech-made
We sew in our workshop in Měšice near Prague – and that goes for the kids' range too. Every piece is handmade in Czechia. Designs are created by UTOPY Studio (or external graphic designers), with no licensed motifs or commercial templates. No kids' piece is imported from mass production.
UTOPY brand promise: “Never washes out, never fades.” It applies to kids' products just as it does to adult ones.

What sizes of kids' clothing do you offer?
The size range for our kids' products follows standard children's cuts based on the child's height. You'll find exact measurements in the size chart for each product.
How should I wash UTOPY kids' clothing?
We recommend washing at 30 °C, ideally without fabric softener (gentler on children's skin). The sublimated design can't wash out – the colour is part of the fibre.
Do you also make adult clothing or accessories?
