What is the “improved cut”
The improved cut is a classic pullover hoodie with several construction details that make a difference over long-term wear: a longer back panel (the hoodie doesn't ride up when you bend or squat), sleeve cuffs (they hold their shape and don't wash out of shape), a hood that holds its structure. Improved = compared with our older cut, which didn't have these details.
Nest material 200 g/m²
Nest is our sweatshirt fabric – polyester (95%) with elastane (5%), weight 200 g/m². Soft against the skin, breathable, and holds its shape even after dozens of washes. The sublimated design is a permanent part of the fibre – it can't peel or rub off.

Outfits and pairing
More than half of UTOPY hoodies have matching leggings from the same collection – an instant outfit set. With biker shorts in summer, just the hoodie + trainers; in winter, a full set with thermal leggings and a headband.
Care
Wash inside out at 30 °C, no fabric softener or bleach, dry flat in the shade (not in a tumble dryer on high heat), iron only on the reverse at a low temperature.
Tip from Pavla in the workshop: “The improved cut makes sense for long-term wear – the longer back panel protects your lower back, and the sleeve cuff stops the sleeve from stretching out in the wash. When choosing your size, go for the one that fits your shoulders – Nest has stretch, so the hoodie adapts to you.”
