OEKO-TEX certified. An international standard that guarantees the textile contains no harmful chemicals. Important for sensitive skin, people with eczema, children and conscious consumers — the certificate verifies what the textile actually contains.
Wave — our signature towelling
Wave is our name for the quick-dry microfibre towelling we use for all UTOPY quick-dry products. A top-quality 200 g/m² finish, OEKO-TEX certified, smooth surface, sharp sublimation-printed design. We cut and sew it from the roll ourselves in our workshop.
When to choose a quick-dry towel over cotton
A classic cotton towel is warmer and usually the better choice for the bathroom at home. Wave wins wherever you need compactness, quick recovery and low weight: in your gym bag, in your suitcase on holiday, in the car, at the campsite. After twenty minutes on the bench in the shower room it's dry; cotton would take hours.

- Wash at 30 °C, do not wring hard, dry in the shade, do not iron (it would damage the sublimation print)
Tip from Pavla in the workshop: With quick-dry towels, the difference is in the density of the fabric. Our Wave at 200 g/m² is the middle ground — dense enough to stay absorbent through dozens of washes, light enough to dry within half an hour after a shower. Cheap quick-dry towels from wholesalers are often 130–160 g/m² — they dry faster, but start to go felty after ten washes.
When a Wave towel is worth it
- Sport (gym, indoor pool, cycling, running)
- A classic cotton towel is still wet half an hour after the gym; Wave is dry. It also takes up a third of the space in your bag.
- Travel and holidays
- A wet cotton towel in your suitcase = mould in your bag after two days. Wave dries while you shower at the hotel and goes back in your bag dry.
- Wellness, sauna, swimming
- Dry off quickly after the sauna; ten minutes later it's dry for the next round.
- Festivals and camping
- Campsite showers are rarely ideal — Wave dries between showers, while a cotton one would end up like a wet rag.
