That's why we take great care with quality checks, even if our methods are sometimes unconventional. We like to be sure.
Indestructible seams
Before putting a new product into production or introducing an improvement, we always make samples and put them through their paces. With leggings, we focus mainly on the seams. In practice, we stretch the leggings in every direction, then apply even more pressure to all the areas where the fabric is stitched together.
Original patterns We design our own patterns that you won't find anywhere else. Every piece is an original with its own distinctive style.
Digital printing We use modern printing techniques for lasting, vibrant colours. The patterns stay vivid even after many washes.
Production We sew our products in the Czech Republic with a focus on quality. Every piece passes through the hands of experienced seamstresses.
Product detailed description
Diagonal brushstrokes in the Czech tricolour, with subtle vertical CZECH REPUBLIC lettering along the side. Czech Motion is a men's sports t-shirt with a Czech-inspired print that refuses to stand still – with every step, it seems to keep moving.
The story behind the print
Motion starts with the idea of movement. The brushstrokes – blue, red and white – are irregular, weaving together rhythmically on the diagonal. We designed the print at UTOPY Studio as a counterpoint to the geometric Czech Pulse: fewer sharp edges, more energy and painterly expression. The vertical CZECH REPUBLIC lettering along the side stays subtle – it anchors the brushstrokes without overpowering them.
Material and production
- Performance knit Drift – polyester microfibre (93 %) with elastane (7 %), with a very fine knit structure.
- Premium Italian quality – breathable, quick-dry and soft to the touch.
- Sublimated print at 200 °C – the dye bonds chemically with the fibre, making the print part of the fibre rather than a peelable surface layer.
- We sew it in our workshop in Měšice, near Prague.
- An all-over print tailored to a men's sports fit.
When to wear it
Czech Motion fits anywhere your body and the print can move together. A morning run when you want to wear something bold. A gym session, an ice hockey match, football matches or a long weekend on your bike. It also works as a supporter’s piece at sporting events when you want to wear the Czech tricolour without a static flag print.
How to style it
The diagonal brushstrokes work well with neutral pieces. Pair it with black men's shorts or navy or grey men's tracksuit bottoms. On cooler mornings, add a plain men's sweatshirt. For the journey home from training, grab a drawstring bag and an understated cap.
Care
- Wash inside out at around 30 °C to help the performance fabric retain its properties.
- Skip fabric softener – it coats the fibres and reduces breathability.
- Dry in the shade, away from the tumble dryer.
- The sublimated print keeps its colours through dozens of washes.
- A tip from Alca in the workshop: We drew the diagonal brushstrokes to suit the men's cut, even when stretched across the shoulders and chest – the print keeps its direction across all sizes.
