That's why we take great care with quality checks, even if our methods are sometimes unconventional. We like to be sure.
Indestructible seams
Before putting a new product into production or introducing an improvement, we always make samples and put them through their paces. With leggings, we focus mainly on the seams. In practice, we stretch the leggings in every direction, then apply even more pressure to all the areas where the fabric is stitched together.
Original patterns We design our own patterns that you won't find anywhere else. Every piece is an original with its own distinctive style.
Digital printing We use modern printing techniques for lasting, vibrant colours. The patterns stay vivid even after many washes.
Production We sew our products in the Czech Republic with a focus on quality. Every piece passes through the hands of experienced seamstresses.
Product detailed description
Diagonal brushstrokes in the Czech tricolour, with subtle vertical CZECH REPUBLIC lettering down the side. Czech Motion is a women's sports t-shirt with a Czech-inspired print that feels constantly in motion – as though every step carries it further.
The story behind the print
Motion is inspired by movement. The blue, red and white brushstrokes are irregular, weaving together rhythmically on the diagonal. We designed the print at UTOPY Studio as a counterpoint to the geometric Czech Pulse: fewer sharp edges, more energy and expressive brushwork. The vertical CZECH REPUBLIC lettering down the side stays subtle – anchoring the brushstrokes without overpowering them.
Material and production
- Performance knit Drift – polyester microfibre (93 %) with elastane (7 %), in a very fine knit.
- Premium Italian quality – soft to the touch, breathable and shape-retaining.
- Sublimated print at 200 °C – the dye bonds chemically with the fibres, helping prevent the print from peeling.
- We sew it in our workshop in Měšice near Prague.
- An all-over print tailored to the performance sports cut.
When to wear it
Czech Motion suits any occasion where you and the print can move together. A morning run when you want to wear something bold. A gym session, an ice hockey match or a long weekend cycling. It also works for supporting your team at events where you want to wear the Czech tricolour without a static flag print. Or simply a day outdoors when you feel like showing your colours.
How to style it
The diagonal brushstrokes pair well with neutral pieces. Team it with black leggings or 3/4 capri leggings for a summer run. Add a sports bra in white or blue. On cooler mornings, reach for a plain sweatshirt. Finish the look with a headband or cap.
Care
- Wash inside out at around 30 °C to help the performance fabric retain its properties.
- Skip fabric softener – it coats the fibres and reduces breathability.
- Dry in the shade, away from the tumble dryer.
- The sublimated print keeps its colours through dozens of washes.
- A tip from Nikca: When you get home, give your t-shirt a quick airing before putting it in the laundry basket – performance knit likes a little breathing space.
