Women's T-Shirt Czech Stone

Diagonal bands in the Czech tricolour overlaid with the texture of cracked stone and concrete. Czech Stone is a women's sports t-shirt with a design that gives the Czech colours a different material feel – hard and tangible, unlike a painting or graphic.

The story behind the print

Czech Stone was created at UTOPY Studio as a counterpoint to pastel and painterly designs. The diagonal bands in the Czech tricolour are there, but their surface has the texture of cracked stone – silvery, blue, red and black areas with the realistic roughness of concrete. The design has a heavier, coarser feel than the rest of the Czech collection. For you if you prefer a tougher look to a light watercolour.

Material and production

• Performance knit Drift – polyester microfibre (93 %) with elastane (7 %), with a very fine knit structure.
• Premium Italian quality – soft to the touch while holding its shape well.
• Sublimation printing at 200 °C – the stone texture has no sharp edges, and sublimation reproduces it precisely.
• We sew it in our workshop in Měšice near Prague.
• An original cracked stone design in the Czech tricolour.

When to wear it

Czech Stone has a rougher look than Pulse or Motion, making it right for moments when you want to wear the Czech colours with a rugged edge. Weight training at the gym, CrossFit, a mountain bike ride or a long trail run. Fan events, an outdoor ice hockey match or a football stadium. And everyday city life under cloudy skies too – a heavier design doesn't need sunshine to work.

How to style it

The textured design calls for understated pairings. Wear it with black leggings or grey tracksuit bottoms. A black sports bra beneath the neckline. A cap in a subtle colour on your head. For cooler days, add a sweatshirt in charcoal or navy.

Care

• Wash inside out at around 30 °C to help the performance fabric retain its properties, shape and stretch.
• Skip fabric softener – it coats the fibres and reduces breathability.
• Air dry; there's no need for a tumble dryer.
• The stone texture stays rich even after dozens of washes – the sublimated design retains its colour through washing.
• A tip from Pavla in the workshop: The Drift knit keeps the design crisp even where the fabric stretches as you move. The Stone texture looks just as rich on your shoulder as it does at your side.
