That's why we take great care with quality checks, even if our methods are sometimes unconventional. We like to be sure.
Indestructible seams
Before putting a new product into production or introducing an improvement, we always make samples and put them through their paces. With leggings, we focus mainly on the seams. In practice, we stretch the leggings in every direction, then apply even more pressure to all the areas where the fabric is stitched together.
Original patterns We design our own patterns that you won't find anywhere else. Every piece is an original with its own distinctive style.
Digital printing We use modern printing techniques for lasting, vibrant colours. The patterns stay vivid even after many washes.
Production We sew our products in the Czech Republic with a focus on quality. Every piece passes through the hands of experienced seamstresses.
Product detailed description
Stormy splashes of blue, red and white, with the silhouette of Prague Castle showing through at the centre. Prague Storm is a women's sports t-shirt with a print that brings together the Czech tricolour and the capital's iconic silhouette.
The story behind the print
Prague Storm was created at UTOPY Studio as a tribute to Prague. Dramatic splashes in the Czech tricolour create an energetic backdrop, with the silhouette of Prague Castle and the spires of St Vitus Cathedral woven into the design. The print has a grittier feel than the rest of the Czech collection, deliberately so. Prague is more than an idyllic view: it's a city with an atmosphere and rhythm of its own.
Material and production
- Performance knit Drift – polyester microfibre (93 %) with elastane (7 %), with a very fine knit structure.
- Premium Italian quality – soft to the touch and moves with you.
- Sublimated print at 200 °C – both the splash design and the silhouette stay bright and vibrant through hundreds of washes.
- Made in our workshop in Měšice, near Prague.
- An original print featuring Prague's silhouette, for supporting your team and everyday wear.
When to wear it
Prague Storm fits an ordinary day in the city just as well as a big occasion. A walk through Hradcany or Vinohrady, an evening run along the Vltava, morning yoga in the park. Fan gatherings, sporting events, ice hockey or football matches. And trips abroad, too: Prague's silhouette is a natural conversation starter when you want to show where you're from.
How to style it
The dramatic splashes leave little room for another pattern in your outfit, so pair Prague Storm with plain pieces. Black leggings or biker shorts are a safe choice. Add a white or blue sports bra and a cap in a neutral shade. On cooler days, layer a sweatshirt in a basic colour over the top.
Care
- Wash inside out at around 30 °C to help the performance fabric retain its properties.
- Skip fabric conditioner – it coats the fibres and reduces the knit's breathability.
- Air dry; there's no need for a tumble dryer.
- The splash design and Castle silhouette retain their contrast, with the sublimated colours staying vibrant through dozens of washes.
- A tip from Marketa at UTOPY Studio: We designed the splash composition so that the Castle silhouette stays recognisable even when the t-shirt has been crumpled in a backpack – the Prague print works just as well in a trip photo as it does when laid flat.
