UTOPY drawstring bags (also called gymsacks) are lightweight, roomy and versatile. What a UTOPY bag is best for

UTOPY bag construction
Our bags have a simple two-cord drawstring closure over the shoulders and a roomy main compartment. The material is chosen to resist abrasion against your back and to cope with sweat from your top, while staying light (an empty bag weighs around 100 g). We print the design by sublimation at 200 °C – the same process as for sports t-shirts, so the design won't fade or peel. In this respect, the bag will last for years without any visual wear.
Bag care
- Machine wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, do not bleach
- Dry in the shade – direct sunlight dries out the material and shortens the life of the cords
- Don't overload it – it's a gymsack, not a hiking backpack. For 5+ kg of stuff, use a backpack.
- After a rainy day, leave it opened out at home on a clean surface to dry, not rolled up in a bag
A tip from Alča at the workshop: We finish our bags here in Měšice – we print the original design by sublimation at 200 °C directly onto the material, and we handle material checks and packing ourselves. UTOPY is a Czech manufacturer: we stand behind the sublimation, the final look and the promise that the design will last as long as the bag itself. If you want to buy a gymsack that will serve you for a long time, check the density of the knit – cheap wholesale versions start to fall apart after a few washes.
What goes with the bag
The bag is most often part of a workout set – we recommend pairing it with an insulated bottle, a towel and a yoga mat for a complete fitness kit. Visually, the bag goes well with a cap and a UTOPY sweatshirt from the same collection.
